About This Painting

This abstract landscape art exemplifies the beauty and simplicity of autumn. Late this summer my daughter and I took up hiking. I quickly began to appreciate the joy of being in the outdoors in September and October. The fall is often a short season in Montana. The leaves turn colors suddenly and sometimes there are only a few weeks before they fall and the snow comes. Those golden days are precious and the memories can carry you through til the spring.
