About This Painting

The moon is endlessly fascinating--the focus of legends and superstitions since time began. This is an image of the moon seen reflecting on a body of water and combines two primal symbols--the moon and water--for a mysterious effect. The monochromic visual effect is calming, with enough ripples in the water to possibly make the viewer wonder what exactly is below the surface, for better or worse!
