Vision of Another World: Kithera
9x12" About This Painting Kithera is a combination of geometric art with acrylic flow technique within each "heavenly" body. This painting is one in a series of paintings looking at how other worlds might appear. The name was found by searching the dictionary for "planet-like" names. I also researched naming conventions for heavenly bodies and found that the naming of planets is pretty wide-open, whereas the naimng of certain types of formation on outer space bodies is more "regulated".
