Vision of Another World: Lycita
9x12" About This Painting This painting is an exploration of what other worlds, similar to earth, might look like. Finding a name for this world was as fun as painting the painting. I searched in Spanish and Norwegian dictionaries (the only other languages that I happen to have dictionaries for) and then found a geographical names section in an English dictionary and adapted a number of the names to come up with something for this piece. This piece also gave me a chance to combine geometrics with an acrylic flow style for a semi-abstract, semi-realistic effect. Learn more about Life on Other Planets below. SOLD
