The One Wave
14x18" About This Painting This painting is a gentle approach to the idea of a single large wave. This wave is subduing the other waves, but with as little force a spossible. Not much in terms of whitecaps--just a gentle overpowering with size and weight. The title, of course, is a play on the "One Ring" that rules them all. I am, indeed, a J.R.R. Tolkein fan. Here at the Karlsen home, we quote lines from The Fellowship of the Ring movies to each other on a regular basis. SOLD
