HOW I SELL MY ARTWORK
My work is currently sold directly to customers or businesses. I have been selling art professionally for the last nine years. I am happy to provide customer references on request.
FRAMES
Paintings are on gallery-wrapped canvases that do not need to be framed. They may be framed by the purchaser if desired. Each piece arrives ready to hang with all necessary hardware already in place.
PRICING
Works are generally priced by the square inch to keep the prices as objective as possible. Obviously this means smaller works are less expensive. This pricing structure curves up at the smaller end (more per square inch) and down at the larger end (less per square inch). Some works of the same size are priced differently depending on the level of details and time involved in creating the work, but the prices stay within an appropriate range for the painting size.

FREE SHIPPING in the continental US and to Canada. The prices you see on this website are exactly what you will pay to have the chosen piece delivered to your doorstep. International shipping is also possible. Some fees may apply.
PROTECTION OF PAINTINGS
All my paintings are sprayed with matte varnish to protect them against fading and dust for many years of enjoyment. Every painting is bubble wrapped and shipped with protection for the corners in reinforced boxes. All paintings are fully insured.
CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY
A certificate of authenticity is provided with all of my paintings ordered via the internet. The certificate states the painting's name and dimensions, artist’s name (Kathleen Karlsen), year the painting was created, media used (acrylic) and a guarantee of the fact that it is a 100% original, handmade piece.
PAYMENT FOR PAINTINGS
To purchase a painting from this site, please send an email with the title of the paintings(s) that you wish to purchase and the means of payment. This will reserve the painting(s) for you. Payment plans are available for paintings over $500.
If you wish to pay by Pay Pal or credit card, I will send an electronic invoice. I will confirm when payment has been received and when your painting has been shipped. If you wish to pay by check, your painting will be shipped when payment clears. Please send your check to the following mailing address:
